The world of money often feels like a black box to teenagers, filled with complex terms and hidden rules. Our Financial Literacy Summer Camp is designed to crack that box wide open. Using our “Engage, Encourage, Empower” model, we move past dry lectures and dive straight into the “Game of Money.” We start by exploring the foundational pillars of financial health: banking systems, the power of compound interest, and the psychology of spending. Students don’t just learn definitions; they explore how money flows in the modern economy and why starting early is the ultimate competitive advantage.
The experience is centered around real-world application through our signature “Edu-Jobs.” Students take on 15–30 minute tasks that simulate the financial decisions of adulthood. They will practice opening virtual accounts, building a bulletproof budget that balances “needs” and “wants,” and navigating the complexities of taxes and hidden fees. The classroom atmosphere is collaborative and high-energy, where students share strategies and learn from both successes and simulated setbacks in a safe, judgment-free environment.
By the end of the two-week sprint, students transition from being passive spenders to empowered financial architects. They will walk away with a personalized “Wealth Blueprint” that includes a clear savings strategy and a deep understanding of how to manage a paycheck. We focus strictly on the essentials—banking and budgeting—to ensure every student leaves with the confidence and integrity needed to lead a financially capable life, ready to build generational wealth from the ground up.
